My itinerary


In case you weren't feeling jealous enough already, here's my planned itinerary:
Sunday 3rd December - fly to Singapore
Monday 4th December - arrive in Singapore. Stay there for a few days.
Thursday 7th December - to Kuala Lumpur.
Friday 8th December - to Cameron highlands, Malaysia.
Sunday 10th December - back to Singapore
Wednesday 13th December - fly to Perth
Thursday 14th December - Day one of Third Test.
Saturday 23rd December - fly to Melbourne
Monday 25th December - Christmas barbie on a beach in Melbourne
Wednesday 27th December - Day two of Fourth Test
Thursday 28th December - Day three of Fourth Test
Saturday 30th December - eleven hour train journey to Sydney
Sunday 31st December / Monday 1st January 2007 - stay up late. Have lots to drink. See in the New Year 12 hours too early...
Tuesday 2nd January - Day one of Fifth Test
Wednesday 3rd January - Day two of Fifth Test
Saturday 6th January - fly to Uluru. Look at big rock.
Tuesday 9th January - fly to Adelaide.
Wednesday10th January - South Australia vs Queensland in Twenty20 cricket at the Adelaide Oval
Friday 12th January - fly to Auckland
Saturday 13th January - David and Kathryn's wedding
Sunday 14th January - fly to Sydney
Monday 15th January to Wednesday 7th February - drive up East Coast to Cairns. See large coral reef. Hopefully some big fibreglass animals too.
Wednesday 7th February- fly to Auckland. Three weeks driving around New Zealand in a camper van, seeing all the best sights on both islands.
Monday 26th Feb - go back in time. End up in LA before I left New Zealand.
Thursday 1st March - fly to New York. Spend a few days there, then drive to Boston to see friends, then up to see Niagara and Toronto.
Saturday 10th March - leave New York.
Sunday 11th March - go home for a nice cup of tea.
Monday 12th March - go to the office. A day of chatting to colleagues, showing them my photos and generally not doing any work.

Is it days 2&3 at Melbourne and 1&2 at Sydney? I thought it was the other way round....though I have been wrong many many times before

You may be off around the world, but we're going to Stamford Bridge in January. Can't Wait!
